Who is the ideal interpreter?

• Experience in interpreting is a must or equivalent capability (we can train)
• Women or Men interpreters.
• Languages? We are accepting ANY language to Interpret to English and vice versa.
• ENGLISH language? Must be FLUENT.
• RELIABILITY, we need to count on you.
• PRECISION to the appointments is a must, you have to be on time, ALWAYS.
• Presently we are looking in ONTARIO, but there is in effect CANADA WIDE selection.
• USA, as well is contemplated in a plan of expansion in effect.
• The Candidate would be available to take appointments in Toronto and Ontario and rest of Canada or can apply for specific areas (USA - CANADA).
• The Candidate has to be able to access to internet to an account opened with us (below we'll explain how it works).
• Business presence, and cleanness ( I meant Business attire).
• This is a Freelancing job.
• We pay $30/hr with minimum of 2 hours for appointment (commuting is reimbursed in contemplated areas).
• (Note: other type of payment rate might be applied depends by the institution or government agencies).

As Candidate for the Interpreting job:

1. You have to submit an up to date resume, and a cover letter, by e-mail attachment to interpreter@1gjv.net
2. Once you have been accepted you have to sign an agreement.
3. We will open an account to you, where you are responsible for your APPOINTMENTS GRID.
4. APPOINTMENTS GRID must be up to date; if you need days or time for other businesses of yours, you MUST reserve such range of time through YOUR appointment grid, since clients will take appointments where they see your grid available. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE of your grid to update it!
5. WE PROMOTE YOU through ads, and campaigns to create job for the interpreters, but we have to work with high level of business ethic, including high responsibility.
6. In Your Account you will be able to view your list of appointments CONFIRMED, appointments of the DAY, appointments DONE.
7. Also you will have visible your earning and when you get paid.

EXAMPLE:

1. A client reserves an interpretation service in a clinic in Hamilton ONT - 4 hrs.
2. That range of time will be reserved in your grid when you will be confirmed.
3. The system will scan for interpreters available in that range of time/day; it will be selected only who is available for that area or nearby. The scan criteria of the system will be then by: language, availability, quality rank, and also is considered a fair distribution among interpreters in the way that everybody will get approximately the same quantity of appointments.
4. The performance meter is embedded in our system, generated by criteria of Points Scored by Clients Appreciation, Professional Quality, and PRECISION.
5. Once the interpreter is accepted and confirmed it will be sent a confirmation sheet by e-mail, and also the appointment will be inserted in 'My Account Page' of yours.
6. You have also to follow eventual instructions attached.
7. For THE APPOINTMENT you have to be there around 10 min. before the commencing. We suggest to use a GPS in your cell-phone or the Google maps in order to trace the time needed for commuting.
8. Once the Appointment is concluded, the Client has to sign the CHECK-OUT sheet that will be in your hands, because you had it printed, after we sent it to you with the appointment confirmation.
9. Same day, you have to send such CHECK-OUT sheet by scanning it and e-mail it to us (for example once you came back at home/office).
