Long-time Sunday School teacher at Midhurst United Church. Passed away suddenly at home in Midhurst on Sunday, March 28, 2004. Myrtle Davies, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late John Davies. Dear mother of Larry Miller (Ellen), Marlene Nicholson (John Ward), Dale Miller (Cathy), Karen Catling (Paul) and Pamela McKee (David). Loving grandmother of Bart, Sandy (Gerry), Erin, Ashley, Marnie, Kaitlin, Mallory (Mike), Christopher, Devon, Nicholas, Whitney, Lindsay and Geordie. Cherished great-grandmother of Morgan, Tyler and David. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Marie, Beryl, Mavis and Lois and brother Ron Coutts. Predeceased by her brother Walter Coutts. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home (Clapperton and Worsley Streets) Barrie, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Midhurst Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
